The company facilitates activity and employment of handicapped people (preferably mentally handicapped) through the promotion and management of training programs, training centers, job centers and others. It has its head office in Donostia San Sebastian, Spain and was incorporated in August 1975. Its activities are divided into the following areas: Industrial sector activities: performing assembly and machining, batching and filling of powdered, liquid and semi-solid materials, packaging, electronic assembly, and manufacture of cable harnesses; and carrying out plastic injection and recycling; Service activities: laundering services for hospitals, hotels and convalescent homes; industrial cleaning services for sports centres, swimming pools, offices, streets and pavements; maintenance of gardens; computer processing of documents; and management of service stations. Noteworthy innovations of the company include programs such as: research and development in the search for unskilled labor-intensive activities which would enable a future expansion of current employment levels; a program of integral employment services for the integration of handicapped people into the job market; and a Day Centre Programme for the mentally handicapped with a deteriorating physical psychosocial condition who are not suited for employment.
