The company is engaged in the manufacture and repair of electrical transformers. It was founded in 1948 and has its registered head office in the city of Donostia-San Sebastian in Spain. The company's products include power transformers, autotransformers, reactances, and conventional type transformers. It has an annual production capacity exceeding 2,000,000 KVA, reaching powers of up to 100 MVA and tensions up to 245 kV. As part of its business, the company provides such services as transport, assembly, assembly supervision and putting in service, repairs, and maintenances. In 1993, the company was the first national electrical transformers manufacturer which obtained the Certificate of Registered Company according to ISO 9001 regulation. The company is a habitual supplier of all the Spanish electrical companies, and also supplies equipments directly to the industry, mainly to petrochemical industry, paper mill and the metallurgical, among others.
