Museums activities

The company is engaged in museums activities and preservation of historical sites and buildings. It was incorporated in December of 2007 and has its registered head office in the city of Donostia-San Sebastian in Spain. The company operates Museo de San Telmo, a museum of Basque ethnography, history, art & photography, plus local & global archeological finds. Inaugurated in 1902, the San Telmo Museum is the oldest museum in Spain’s Basque country. Housed in a former Dominican convent, it holds the city’s collections of paintings and sculpture, together with archaeological, cultural and industrial artefacts intended to illuminate aspects of Basque life from prehistory to the present day.
